Project Overview

As part of VR for Good, Facebook, St. Jude, and Flight School Studio came together to create a virtual reality experience for the Oculus Quest and Rift headsets that celebrates the stories of survivors of childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases — real patients who fought for their lives.

The St. Jude Hall of Heroes is set on floating islands, each island with statues 60 feet tall, and each statue unique, representing a St. Jude patient and their story.

As players explore the islands, they will be able to teleport up to the statues and hear directly from patients and their families.
